TeamShift with Cal.com: an AI team for the work around every booking
Cal.com takes care of the booking itself: people pick a time from your event types and it lands on your schedule. What happens next is still on you. Someone has to confirm the details, look up who is coming, update the CRM, and follow up after the meeting. TeamShift connects to Cal.com from the Connections page in your portal. Once connected, TeamShift workers can read your bookings, event types, and schedules, notice new bookings and reschedules, and prepare the follow-through. Every message to a customer and every booking change waits for your approval, and you can disconnect Cal.com at any time.

Cal.com: the short answers
What does TeamShift do with Cal.com?
TeamShift reads your Cal.com bookings and event types so its workers can act on them. When someone books or reschedules, the right worker drafts the confirmation or follow-up, writes a short prep note for you about who is coming and why, and updates your CRM or calendar records. When a conversation calls for a meeting, a worker can propose a Cal.com booking. Nothing is sent, booked, cancelled, or changed until you approve it.
How do I connect Cal.com to TeamShift?
In the TeamShift portal, open Connections, choose Cal.com, and sign in to your Cal.com account to approve access. The connection belongs to your workspace, and you can disconnect it from the same page whenever you like.
Will TeamShift book or cancel meetings in Cal.com on its own?
No. Reading bookings and event types changes nothing. Creating, confirming, declining, rescheduling, or cancelling a booking is a change that reaches another person, so TeamShift prepares it and waits for your approval. Each approved change is recorded.
Who does what
The jobs your team takes
Operations lead
- Checks Cal.com for new bookings and reschedules and puts what changed into your morning brief, including anything still unconfirmed.
- Proposes a Cal.com booking when an email or text thread agrees on a time, and creates it only once you approve.
Customer success worker
- Notices a cancelled or rescheduled customer meeting and drafts a friendly note offering new times for your OK.
Sales worker
- Drafts the confirmation and the post-meeting follow-up for a booked sales call, sent only after you approve the wording.
- Keeps the CRM in step with Cal.com: logs the booked meeting on the contact and flags reschedules on open deals.
Research worker
- Writes a short prep note before each booked meeting: who the person is, their company, and what they asked about when they booked.
Stays with you
What never runs without you

Anything that sends, pays, publishes, or deletes waits for your OK, and every step is recorded. How approval works.
FAQ
Questions owners ask
Do I need to change my Cal.com setup?
No. Keep your event types, availability, and booking links as they are. TeamShift works from the bookings they produce.
Can TeamShift see my Cal.com password or credentials?
No. You approve access on Cal.com's own sign-in screen, and TeamShift keeps a reference to that connection, not your password. Cal.com actions that would hand back credentials are blocked.
How do I stop TeamShift from using Cal.com?
Open Connections in the portal and disconnect Cal.com. Once it is disconnected, workers can no longer read or change your bookings.
