Job text consent

Effective October 12, 2026

TeamShift texts job offers and job updates to people who agree to get them. This page explains how you agree, what we send and how to stop. It covers texts from TeamShift's job number, whether the job comes from TeamShift's network or from a business that added you to its team.

1. You agree by replying YES

A business adding your number, or you entering it on a form, is not enough on its own. We send the first text below only after the business confirms you gave it your number and agreed to hear about jobs, or after you enter your number yourself. We send job offers only after you reply YES.

The first text says:

TeamShift: [Business name] wants to send you job offers by text. Reply YES to agree. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Terms: teamshift.io/legal/worker-sms

If you don't reply, or reply anything other than YES, we don't text you again about job offers.

After you reply YES:

TeamShift: You're signed up for job texts from [Business name]. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

If you sign up on our website, the consent box is never pre-checked and says:

I agree to receive job offers and job updates by text from TeamShift at the number above. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is optional.

You'll still get the YES text before any offer.

2. What we send

Only texts about jobs: offers, acceptance confirmations, the address after you accept, reminders, proof requests, pay updates and safety messages. We don't send ads or promotions in job texts, and links only go to the job, its capture page or these terms.

We send offers between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. your local time. Updates for a job you're already doing can come at other times, if the job is happening then.

3. STOP and HELP

  • STOP. Reply STOP, or any reasonable way of saying it (QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, OPT OUT, or "stop texting me"), and we stop. You'll get one last text confirming it:

TeamShift: You're unsubscribed and won't get more job texts. Reply START to sign up again.

You can also opt out by email or by telling us in any other reasonable way. We act on it right away, and in any case within the time the law allows.

  • HELP. Reply HELP for:

TeamShift job texts. Help: team@teamshift.io or (717) 740-8200. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

  • START. Reply START or YES to sign up again after stopping.

Opting out of texts doesn't close your worker account or affect pay you've already earned. For own-roster jobs, opting out stops TeamShift's texts, but the business that added you may still reach you in other ways you've agreed with them.

Your YES covers job texts for the business named in the first text, or TeamShift's own network if that's who asked. A new business has to get your YES separately. Replying STOP to a number stops all job texts from that number.

5. Calls

We don't call you with prerecorded, artificial or AI-generated voices without your separate consent. If we record a call, we tell you first and ask everyone on the call to agree.

6. Records and carriers

We keep a record of when and how you agreed and when you opted out, as described in the worker privacy addendum. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Questions go to team@teamshift.io or (717) 740-8200.
